EASY AND ADDICTIVE-A FAMILY STAPLE
1 small box graham wafers(Honeymaid only)
1 package slivered almonds
1 package Skor bits
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar packed
1 package milk chocolate chips
Line a cookie sheet with foil. Cover with graham wafers, trimming some to fit.
Sprinkle with almonds followed by skor bits.
Melt butter and brown sugar. Whisk until mixture caramelizes (the colour should be that of a carmel apple). Do this over high heat
Pour carmel over wafers. Spread with back of metal spoon.
Put in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until caramel bubbles.
Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips on top.
After sitting for two minutes spread chocolate using back of metal spoon.
Refrigerate at least four hours before breaking into pieces.
Have fun and experiment using different types of chip and adding additions like cranberries, sour cherries etc.
Remember original recipe tastes the most like a chocolate bar and is hard to improve on.
